these have been long and dreary days ...
with out you i am lost.
i have had to use giant forks when i eat my olives
jo and i sit and talk...
remembering the good times,
discussing our hopes for the future...
knowing that one day we will see you once again.
and we will share some black or maybe even green olives.
the girls ...
they love to imagine the great adventures you must be having ....
they do a lot of whispering and giggling
they point out your finest features
they discuss at length the merits of the tiny fork
jo gets bored with the endless talking.
she asks... "don't these people ever sleep?"
we are all looking forward to the time when we will all be together again.
eating our olives and maybe even a pickle or 2!
until then we have our memories.........
now then a little explaining is in order.
(about the olive forks or maybe you would call them pickle forks)
...a few months ago i won a contest sponsored by james over at plasticfantastic.
but as the glory of my victory faded i got an idea... to share my beloved prize( tiny-forks) with the losers.
with the help of my-pink-friend we organized a road trip for the tiny forks/beloved prize.
the object was to photograph the prize at each destination and then send them on their merry way.
the final destination being pink's and since she lives up the street ...back to me.
somewhere along the way some crazy people started adding things the the package...
so i think pink has now become the biggest winner ever!!
here is where the tiny-forks went (not necessarily in this order...but that is another story involving hot dogs and the canadian postal service)
And TODAY is REVEAL day!!!
so take a look......................

**after receiving my prize and before i sent it on its journey i shot and posted this: beloved prize
now go have an olive...or a pickle or something really small that you would only eat with a tiny fork
